The Barking Crab

The Barking Crab

The Barking Crab: I that when I was a kid and we got to have some crab I wanted to use something to smash it open instead of the nut crackers that my parents had. Well at the Barking Crab each of the tables has a rock the size of a smushed softball that you can use to smash open your crab, lobster or whichever other shell fish you get. There a paper plates so that you can cover your meal while you smash it. This makes for a lot of fun and some Crazy Eats.

They serve a traditional New England clam bake that includes a LB lobster, clams, corn on the cob, and red potatoes. All it is boiled together and weights a total of LB, plus you have a bowl of clam chowder to go with it. Of if you want to get fried seafood, get the fisherman’s platter, which is LB of fried seafood on a mound of fries.

You can get lobster up to 3 LB here and you can get it by itself or you can have a have it stuffed with a scallop, shrimp, bread, herb, and white wine dressing and then baked. You can choose from 5 different types of crab or you can get the mixed crab bowl with 2 LB of snow crab, 1 LB of Dungeness crab clusters, and 1 LB of king crab legs served with drawn butter. So this is one to places to go if you want to smash open your crab with rock while getting top quality seafood.
